Tom Rakocevic is working to strengthen Ontario by improving public services, fighting for fairness in auto insurance, and making life more affordable for families.
Born and raised in Humber River–Black Creek, Tom has been a passionate advocate for his community for over 25 years. Before becoming an MPP, he worked as Executive Assistant to local Councillor Anthony Perruzza, leading initiatives that improved community safety, infrastructure, and local services.
As the Official Opposition’s Shadow Minister for Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement, with responsibility for Auto Insurance Reform, Tom has been a leading voice for consumer rights and affordability. He has tabled bills to reform the auto insurance system, strengthen consumer protections, and invest in cleaner, more efficient public services.
Tom lives in his home riding with his wife, two children, and elderly mother.
